"Then cut it and then don't cut it."

Wife: Can I cut my hair and make it short?
Husband: Cut it.
W: I took lot of efforts to grow it long..
H: Then don't cut it
W: They say short hair is the fashion these days..
H: Then cut it
W: What if the fashion changes after I cut?
H: Then don't cut it
W: All my friends say that I will look beautiful with a short hair..
H: Then cut it
W: But I doubt whether short hair will suit my small face..
H: Then don't cut it
W: But short hair is very easy to manage..
H: Then cut it
W: But how can I wear flowers in my hair. I love to wear flowers.
H: Then don't cut it
W: I think there is nothing wrong in trying once...
H: Then cut it
W: But it may take a long time to grow hair again.
H: Then don't cut it
W: Still I feel like giving it a try once
H: Then cut it
W: If I look ugly after cutting my hair ....
H: Then don't cut it
.

.The husband is undergoing treatment in a mental hospital presently.
He doesn't speak anything except two sentences."Then cut it and then don't cut it."
The doctors wonder what is to be cut.
They are conducting all tests.
They also intend getting expert advice from Doctors abroad!

Beautiful explanation by Rumi

Explaining the meaning of ‘Association’ he said:..“A

rain drop from the sky: if it is caught by clean hands, is pure

enough for drinking. If it falls in the gutter, its value drops so much

that it can’t be used even for washing your feet. If it falls on a hot

A highly successful MD of MNC was going home in his car when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass.

Disturbed by the sight, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.

He asked one man-
"Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied.
"We have to eat grass."

"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you" the MD said.

"But sir, I have a wife and two  children with me. They are over there, under that tree".

"Bring them along," the MD replied.

Turning to the other poor man he stated,
"You come with us also."

The second man, in a pitiful voice then said,
"But sir, I also have a wife and three children with me!"

"Bring them all, as well," the MD answered.

They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as it was.

One of the poor fellows turned to the MD and said,
"Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."

The MD replied,
"Glad to do it. You'll really love my place; the grass is almost 1 meter high...!"

"Behind every successful man...there's a woman"

Did You Know This Story :

During a company's annual family trip to a crocodile farm in Thailand... the eccentric Boss dared any of his employees to jump into the crocodiles infested pond... and swim to the shore.

Anyone who survived the swim will be rewarded with 5 million... but if killed by the crocs...2 million will be given to the next of kin.

For a long period of time no one dared take up the challenge... then suddenly a man jumped in...and swam frantically for his life towards shore pursued by the crocs...and luckily he made it unscathed.

When he managed to recover his breath... the man, who became instant millionaire, shouted asking who pushed him into the pond..... it was his wife who did it.!!!

And from that day...that was how the phrase... "Behind every successful man...there's a woman"...came about !!!

Sunder Pichai-Cockroach Theory

Sunder Pichai-Cockroach Theory -Don’t miss to read

A beautiful speech by Sundar Pichai - an IIT-MIT Alumnus and Global Head Google:

The cockroach theory for self development

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady.

She started screaming out of fear.

With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.

Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.

When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?

He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story:

I understood, I should not react in life.
I should always respond.

The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

A beautiful way to understand............LIFE.

Person who is HAPPY is not because Everything is RIGHT in his Life..

He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right..!!!

Our Journey Together is so Short!

A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags.

The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something.

The young lady responded with a smile:

"It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop."

This response deserves to be written in golden letters:

"It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short"

If each one of us realized that our time here is so short; that to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude would be a waste of time and energy.

Did someone break your heart? Be calm, the journey is so short.

Did someone provoke or intimidate you? Be calm, forgive; the journey is so short.

Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? Be calm, forgive; the journey is so short.

Whatever troubles anyone brings us, let us remember that our journey together is so short.

No one knows the duration of this journey. No one knows when their stop will come. Our journey together is so short.

Let us cherish friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving to each other. Let us be filled with gratitude and gladness.

If I have ever hurt you, I ask for your forgiveness. If you have ever hurt me, you already have my forgiveness.

After all, Our Journey Together is so Short!

Profound Distinctions between Intelligence and Wisdom

1. Intelligence leads to arguments.
Wisdom leads to settlements.
2. Intelligence is power of will.
Wisdom is power OVER  will.
3. Intelligence is heat, it burns.
Wisdom is warmth, it comforts.
4. Intelligence is pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker.
Wisdom is pursuit of truth, it inspires the seeker.
5. Intelligence is holding on.
Wisdom is letting go.
6. Intelligence leads you.
Wisdom guides you.
7. An intelligent man thinks he knows everything.
A wise man knows that there is still a lot to learn.
8. An intelligent man always tries to prove his point.
A wise man knows there really is no point.
9. An intelligent man freely gives unsolicited advice.
A wise man keeps his counsel until all options are considered.
10. An intelligent man understands what is being said.
A wise man understands what is left unsaid.
11. An intelligent man speaks when he has to say something.
A wise man speaks when he has something to say.

Intelligence is good
but wisdom achieves better results.
